Safe for dogs on hot days as long as they fit correctlyI bought these boots because they looked so cute for my dog but once I put the shoes on, my dog was drowning in the size so I returned them.You may have to go two sizes down to get the right fit for your dog's paws.I found the velco straps poorly constructed and they felt flimsy.I’m not good about writing reviews but these dog shoes are just too good not tell others. I tried some shoes from pet smart before. They just would not stay on and we’re I’ll fitting with not much of a sole. These shoes are perfect. My dog Max is about 60 pounds so a big guy. I ordered the large but had to send them back for mediums. My dog Max can be a big baby about things but for some reason he stood perfectly still while I put these on him. They have two Velcro straps and a nice sturdy sole. He wore them the first time for hours and never o ce fussed about them. He walked only a little funny but got used to them faster than I thought he would. They don’t bother him at all, never came off and protect his feet like they should. These are the shoes to get for your dog.Sending back my second pair. Quality made but big.I got these for my 4 month old Australian shepherd Queensland heeler mix size 4 and they fit perfect. It's just getting her use to them. It's triple digits here in Phoenix so the ground is super hot.Overall impressed with the quality of these boots! The inner material is soft and the soles have great grip and protection. I trimmed the straps down once I properly fitted the boots since I apparently have a thin ankled dog! He took to them better than expected and was playing in them within 10 minutes! He found the bag they came in to make a great tug toy and I could barely hold on with his new found traction! I do recommend keeping the upper strap a little looser and using the lower strap to secure the boot on snugly.Purchased these for some upcoming snow. The boots arrived quickly and looked amazing out of the bag. The inside material is quite soft and the straps are a breeze to tighten. We did struggle at first to get them to stay on the stubby Corgi legs. I imagine that a normal proportioned dog wouldn't have any issues at all! Overall, we quite like them! We were honestly surprised he tolerated them so well. Not one attempt was made to pull them off!These dog boots actually stay on if you put them on right. I even ordered a size larger since my pup is still growing, and after several weeks, they’re still working great. We experience below zero temps that were clearly causing problems with her paws when we went outside, but with these boots on she isn’t having any issues at all any more. Pull the Velcro straps nice and snug and they won’t fall off.This is a great quality product, I have a Bernese Mountain dog and unfortunately they did not fit her properly. When she would walk in them they would sightly turn to the sides on some legs. I don’t think the largest size was big enough and her foot wouldn’t end up being in the main sock of the shoe as she walked.
