It's very soft and is a very subtle lavender.This is a great product! Its soft for my pups neck and is great looking! The color holds up well with hand washing and returns back to its original color even after getting rolled in dirt. The metal clasp is sturdy. Will buy again!I purchased 2 of these, in xs; one pink, one blue. They are for my chihuahuas, who both have ridiculously tiny necks. One of the dogs has almost zero hair on his neck/chest/tummy, and most collars have irritated his delicate skin. The only one that didn't bother his skin was a standard nylon collar, but it loosened itself enough through the course of the day to slip right over his head, making it useless for attaching ID and rabies tags.These collars are very soft, and the material they're made from is textured, and I think it might prevent them from loosening themselves.My only concern is the weight of the buckle on these. It does have some heft. I hope that will mean excellent durability, and no worrying that it will crack and come apart.Both dogs have necks in the 6"-7" range, and the xs fits both very well.I bought this more as a decorative accessory for my dog Autumn who requires a study harness for our outdoor adventures, but I was surprised by the durability of it. I like the metal D ring and buckle, they feel sturdier than plastic. And the collar width is such that it doesn't cut into her neck, which I also like. She generally doesn't wear her collar in the house but occasionally I'll just use the collar for short late evening walks before bed to make sure her bladder and bowls are empty.Only cons I can think of are the overly large and tacky tag that's stitched over half of it and that it got very dingy quickly and it isn't easy to clean the dirt off of it.Worked great and lasted with my 2 boxer puppies chewing on them. We got over 4 months with it and only got a new one because puppies out grew them. Will buy again. Buckle is high quality and so is belt material.I love that it is velvet. All around nice collar except that the clasp broke a few months into having it.My dog has has this collar for a month already comes off on its own. The clasp is broken and won’t stay in place causing it to fall off randomly.Super cute and sturdy but it quickly started looking dirty and matted.Have used this on my Shih Tzu for the last month. She has managed to slip out of it thee times. Yes, it’s tightened just enough for my two-finger insert. The lock mechanism is not user friendly.
