Read more How to make your dogs get used to wear shoes? 1. Shave Puppy’s Feet Hair Overgrown feet fur will hinder dog’s movement, causing slipping or tripping when they walk. A proper shaving can help them move more freely and dissipate heat better. 2. Select A Suitable Size Size will vary by different breeds or shapes and many dogs have wider front paws than rear paws. So please do measure the size of every paw before buying shoes for your beloved pet. 3. Choose Dog Shoes with Proper Material Depending on the weather and environment, you can choose breathable dog shoes for hot climate; and in rainy or snowy days, waterproof shoes will be a wise choice. 4. Be Patient with The Process Some dogs may not get accustomed to wearing shoes immediately so they will refuse to walk or act rather hilariously. What is important is your patient guidance to help them to walk with shoes on. And if the dog strongly rejects to wear the shoes, you can put on 2 shoes as a transition, then gradually add to 4. Please do stop your puppy when you find they are biting the shoes!! 5. Reward Puppy with Treats Your encouragement and treats will be the best reward for your puppy’s struggle! You can train them to walk indoors first, and play some games such as ball catching, and reward them with some snacks. Once your pets can find joy in their walk with shoes on, you can then take them to the outdoor adventure!

If the paw is in-between two sizes, select the larger size. *How to measure? 1, Let your dog stand on a piece of paper. 2, Fix dog's paw firmly on a piece of paper. 3, Mark 4 sides of the paw on the paper and measure the length and width. *If you don' t know how to choose the right size, you can tell us the length and width of the paw. We will come to help you choose. :)
They are good but the zipper is terrible, it fells apart it get stuck or rust I went through 5 pairs over the winterI received the item used - they were wet so it had that wet rag smell, and had grass and mud on the soles. Besides that, they seem to stay on really well and protect my dogs paws. Only issue is that my dog refuses to walk in them. Oh well, I tried. These boots are pretty great for the most part, however, the sole itself is very thin and has no padding or cushioning to it. It's just a thin piece of plastic for the bottom. But, the design of these make them very easy to put on, and the velcro helps to keep them on. My dog is not huge fan of them, I think a lot has to do with traction, he slips around wearing them. But overall they have been a huge asset for us, especially with this winter weather we've had recently! It gets so cold his paws start to hurt after about a minute outside, and these were just enough that he is able to go out and get his business done before the cold set in to his paws. I would buy them again!Overall these boots are very high quality and look like they would be great for your dog. Unfortunately, I misjudged the size in comparison to my dog, so I had to return them. They were great at keeping his paws dry but they were difficult to put on and my dog seemed to to have difficulty walking in them. The shoes actually fit perfectly until my dog starts running in them. The back shoes came off. They were on properly. Snug but not tight. If not for that I would give more stars. We will practice for 30 days and see if it gets better.
